The program combines the legal and ethical foundations of OSINT with hands-on work using Russian and international public registers, search operators, social networks, messengers, and web archives. Participants will learn to verify photos and videos using metadata, apply neural-network tools and GEOINT methods, identify disinformation and social engineering, assess data-leak risks, and follow digital hygiene and personal-data protection practices.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Public and municipal officials, staff of analytical and security units of commercial organizations, and people with completed or incomplete higher education seeking to develop competencies in open-source data analysis and information security.

LEARNING GOALS:

To improve professional competencies in searching, verifying, analysing, and effectively using information from publicly available Internet resources (OSINT), as well as applying information security standards in public and municipal administration and everyday activities.
