Smart agriculture
From September 9 to October 4, the second scientific summer school "Smart agriculture" is held at the Center for Continuing Professional Education of the Agrarian and Technological Institute. In 2019, students and teachers of the University of Parul, India became participants in the summer school. The program is implemented by the Department of Agrobiotechnology under the guidance of an assistant professor, Ph.D., Pakina E.N.
As part of the program, students attend lectures and workshops in the field of the modern concept of organic farming, biological control of crop pests, learn methods of digital mapping of soils, process data with QGIS, conduct a series of field classes at the Plant Quarantine Institute and visit the Moscow Agricultural Holding.
Despite the busy curriculum, the participants of the summer school walked around the historical center of Moscow and visited Red Square. On September 21, students of the summer school visited RUDN University open day.
