Innovative Methods of Business Communication

On Saturday, May 14, at the center of continious education of the Academy of Engineering of RUDN University, classes began as part of the additional general education program "Innovative Methods of Business Communications". The head and developer of this course is Ekaterina Alexandrovna Kovaleva, Associate Professor of the Department of Innovative Management in Industries, phD (Economic Sciences). The program was developed and opened in 2021 and immediately aroused great interest among a lot of people from the business sector and everyone who would like to expand their knowledge in the field of management and business communications. This is confirmed by the composition of the group of students. Our esteemed students are from Norilsk, St. Petersburg and Moscow. It should be noted that two students previously studied at the Academy of Engineering of RUDN University in other educational programs and, deeply impressed by the knowledge gained and the professionalism of our teachers, were glad to sign up for training in this discipline.

Nowadays, the question of the demand for obtaining knowledge in the field of business relations is especially acute against the backdrop of a difficult geopolitical situation and the state agenda for import substitution. Our country more than ever needs highly qualified professional managers who are able to manage enterprises and organize the work of the team in the new realities of life. It is these skills and knowledge that students should acquire as a result of the learning process. The goal of the program "Innovative Methods of Business Communications" is to develop the ability to analyze and take into account the diversity of cultures in the process of intercultural interaction, as well as the ability to organize the work of teams of performers. During the training, students will learn about new types of communications in business and the principles of corporate culture, get acquainted with the methods of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), and also discover the diversity of features of various national corporate cultures in Russia and foreign countries.

Given the vast geography of our audience, classes are held remotely. The first part of the course was conducted by Irina Ivanovna Shatalova, Associate Professor of the Department of Innovation Management in Industries of the Academy of Engineering of the RUDN, phD (Agricultural Sciences), the second part will be conducted by the head of the program Ekaterina Aleksandrovna Kovaleva. It should be noted with a sense of joy that even before the end of the educational process, we heard enthusiastic reviews from our students, which speaks of the great dedication, professionalism and adore for their work of the teachers of the Academy of Engineering of the RUDN.
